A multiserum with 10% Niacinamide + 1% Zinc PCA, Copper PCA and Sodium PCA complex developed for skin with large pores, blackheads and after-acne spots.

With a concentrated 10% niacinamide content, it regulates sebum production and reduces the appearance of acne and blackheads.
Tightens pore walls and normalizes the size of enlarged pores.
Contains 1% zinc PCA to help control acne-causing P. Acnes bacteria.
Visibly fades pigmentation spots + post-acne (PIH) spots.
Supports skin regeneration and reduces the appearance of blemishes/scars.

HOW TO USE

Apply a few drops of the serum 1-2 times a day to cleansed skin, let it soak in and then continue with your skincare routine. You can use it on its own, but it also works great as a booster, added to other serums or dripped directly into your moisturiser.

Can it be used to treat existing red spots and scars from acne?
Because both niacinamide and zinc PCA have antibacterial properties, plus both active ingredients support skin regeneration, thus reducing the chance of developing post-acne scars. In addition, Zinc PCA helps the skin's natural regeneration process and improves its texture, so it can also speed up the fading of already established blemishes and scars.

What gives Purist serum its distinctive blue colour?
Copper PCA (Copper Pyrrolidone Carboxylate) is a blue-coloured metal ion that gives Purist Serum its beautiful blue colour. When copper pyrrolidone carboxylate is present in complex form, the copper ions are able to react with other components in the serum and the serum itself becomes blue. However, if the serum is in contact with air or other substances (such as dirt on the skin) for a prolonged period of time, the copper ions may oxidise, i.e. a chemical reaction may occur. The serum may then turn green as the copper is oxidised and copper oxide is formed.
It is important to note that this does not reduce the effectiveness of the serum, only the colour. To avoid oxidation, it is important to store the serum correctly, away from light and in a dry place.

How to use it?

After cleansing and/or exfoliation, before moisturiser apply a pump of serum 1-2 times a day to the face or drip directly into your moisturiser.

01.10% Niacinamide

A vitamin B3 derivative that not only regulates sebum production but also has powerful antioxidant properties. As a multifunctional active ingredient, it reduces sebum production, minimizes pore size, lightens pigmentation spots and strengthens the skin's barrier function. It also has an outstanding effect on evening out skin tone because it inhibits melanin transport in cells.

02.1% Zinc PCA

It has a dual effect: zinc regulates the function of the sebaceous glands helping to reduce oiliness and clogged pores, while PCA is an important component of the skin's natural moisturizing factor (NMF). It also has an antibacterial effect, inhibiting the growth of Cutibacterium acnes (formerly known as P. Acnes) bacteria, which play a role in the development of acne.

03.Copper PCA

Copper PCA is an important component of the skin's own hydrating system. It enhances hydration, protects and strengthens the skin, while having a soothing and moisture-binding effect. Copper is one of the most important trace elements in the skin and plays a role in collagen and elastin synthesis, which is why copper PCA is known not only as an antibacterial and soothing ingredient, but also as an anti-aging ingredient.
